Product Knowledge and Food Handling
Students are taught how to use and handle knives and other kitchen tools properly, whilst learning to perform a variety of cuts to accurately prepare meat, fish and vegetables.

Learn how to recognize the huge variety of ingredients used in modern kitchens and to appreciate the value of fresh products. A further component of this course is to apply knowledge of laws and regulations relating to safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
