Located in Switzerland, the Culinary Arts Academy is placed right at the heart of several European culinary traditions, including the classics - Italian and French.

With the help of our international Chefs, you will also discover some of today’s most popular cuisines such as Mediterranean, Indian, Thai, Chinese and Mexican. One thing all these cuisines have in common is that their success is due to professional people who master their art to perfection

Our mission is to nurture in our students a passion for food and gastronomy through the development of excellent culinary practise and dedication, in an environment that reflects the reality of today’s culinary industry and trends.


Executive Chef’s Message

Alain Müller - Culinary Arts Academy Executive Chef

“The Academy provides a truly hands-on experience for students who aspire to a career in the culinary field. In order to prepare you thoroughly for a career in the industry, you will focus on the skills and practises required in the operational areas of the kitchen combined with management courses.

A Chef needs to anticipate customers’ expectations. This includes creating menus, purchasing food commodities, calculating budgets, managing the infrastructure of a kitchen or restaurant and leading the team to make the most of their resources in order to create and deliver the perfect result.

At the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, the ingredients for success are: a large proportion of hands-on classes; focus on European Cuisine; small class sizes with individual attention; the Leadership Programme; paid internship in Switzerland; worldwide career guidance and international alumni network.”
